Duties:
unit and system level mechanical and thermal testing support for functional, acceptance, and qualification testing of space flight hardware
all Environmental (mechanical and thermal) Testing at Skyloom.
vibration variables (accelerometers, strain gauges, load cells, etc) and thermal vacuum chamber variables during testing
routing, and troubleshooting of accelerometers, load cells and strain gauges, as well as heaters and thermocouples onto space flight hardware and test equipment
preventive and corrective maintenance as well as calibration tasks regarding the test facilities (electrodynamic shaker, thermal vacuum chamber, and related auxiliaries such as vacuum pumps, PLC, etc.)
up and troubleshoot shaker control systems and liquid nitrogen thermal control systems
space flight hardware in accordance with procedures
directly to the Production Manager
Required skills:
to run and operate basic computer programs and Microsoft office suite
of using Electronic Volt meters, Accelerometers, performing Modal, Sine Sweep, Random and Shock Testing & the ability of reading technical drawings
Mechanical Aptitude and knowledge of different types of Hand Tools and Torque wrenches
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, or physics desired)
Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional work experience in similar positions.
Experience in a testing environment, clean rooms and working with test equipment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, standards and technical requirements
Demonstrated familiarity with data acquisition systems, data analysis and data processing
Strong safety mindset and experience, including hands-on experience planning and conducting hazardous or critical operations
Nice to Haves:
Spanish speaking a plus
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
Good communication skills, team spirit and sense of human relationships
Knowledge of optical communication systems
Basic scripting knowledge for test automation and efficiency.
