Job Description

Alphatec PC is seeking a full-time MEP Revit Designer to join our team and work with our Engineering Departments assisting in creating construction documents related to MEP drawings. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with design professionals, architects, and engineers to develop construction documents using Revit.

The ideal candidate should have excellent technical and communication skills, be able to work with minimal supervision and on multiple projects with concurrent deadlines, display attention to detail, and be able to adapt to and learn new software as necessary.

Desired Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in architectural or engineering field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in the A/E industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Revit.
  • Familiarity in Revit modeling HVAC design including ductwork, piping, mechanical equipment and associated parameters.
  • Familiarity in Revit modeling lighting design, power distribution, low voltage communication systems, and fire alarm.
  • Familiarity with creating Revit families, schedules, and templates.
  • Familiarity with Dynamo and automating Revit processes.
  • Familiarity with various Revit plugins applicable to building design.
  • Familiarity with linking, exporting, and importing Excel worksheets to/from Revit
  • Strong technical knowledge of building and drafting standards and practices.
  • Experience with coordination and development of construction documents with other engineering disciplines
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills required to undertake multiple projects
  • Experience working on federal government projects is a plus
  • US citizenship and valid driver's license required for government clearance
  • Experience in all project phases (design, CD's & follow-on)
