We are seeking a marketing professional with experience in the AEC industry to manage all aspects of operations and strategy of marketing in an architecture firm. The position would require preparation of marketing proposals and management of all marketing collateral such as company qualifications, project descriptions, and staff resumes, with assistance from the marketing and administrative team. Additional responsibilities include marketing communications, information management, and research, often interfacing directly with technical staff. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the RFP/RFQ process, excellent proposal writing skills, graphic design expertise, excellent communication skills, and be a detail oriented, self-starter who can handle multiple deadlines with minimal oversight.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Proposals
Manage proposal process in its entirety. Qualifying RFP/RFQ's, Go/No-Go process, Strategy, Workplan, Design, Assembly, Submission, Debrief/Closeout.
Work with Marketing Graphics Coordinator on assembly and train/mentor for future support.
Review final submittal with Principal Director prior to submittal.
Marketing Graphics Coordinator
Mentor and Train the Marketing Coordinator
Meet weekly to review marketing tasks and set priorities.
Qualify non-federal and GovWin leads together, and meet weekly with leadership for review.
Review weekly; website, social media, and awards for the coming two weeks.
Public Relations/Social Media
Attend weekly meetings with PR Consultant and provide any collateral/support for all PR/Media Plans.
Manage Social Media: Work with Marketing Coordinator to identify content and cadence of posts and assure accurate, appropriate posts on all channels.
Awards
Work with Marketing Coordinator and Principals to identify what projects to submit for each category and support submission collateral (ie. Writing, photography, posters, etc.)
Manage Awards Calendar
Marketing Collateral and database management
Ensure all project sheets, resumes, qualifications, and proposals are up to date and have brand consistency.
Work with Marketing Coordinator to assure presentation packages are accurately using the firm brand and are visually in line with firm design standards.
Assure all proposal and award collateral is archived to create a library of narratives and project information.
Support Business Development
Provide additional support to the Seller/Doers by qualifying leads and assisting with research, when-needed.
Manage GovWin and IMS - Review and qualify incoming leads. Review with leadership weekly.
Other
Train and oversee any marketing tasks assigned to the Executive Assistant.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
5+ years of experience in the A/E/C industry preferred
5+ years of proposal experience
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign; and Microsoft Office Suite
CRM proficiency
Maintain a willingness to engage in tasks/challenges beyond stated responsibilities.
Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure in a consistent and positive manner
Team player able to work in cooperation with others (both marketing and technical)
Ability to work overtime as needed
Excellent oral, written, and graphic communication skills
