We are searching for a Corporate Tax Manager for a well-established, stable company located in downtown Greenville! In this role you will partner with senior leadership directly and be responsible for accounting and tax responsibilities with focuses on tax preparation, review of returns, property tax, etc.

This is an onsite role in downtown Greenville, SC with WFH Fridays.
Essential Duties & Functions
Prepare and review tax packages, ensuring accurate gathering of information from various business units for federal and state income tax returns.
Oversee and manage the preparation of all partnership tax returns and corporate consolidated tax return.
Oversee tax fixed assets.
Assists with taxable income projections at different levels within the corporate tax structure.
Manage tax deadlines to avoid late filings.
Prepare and manage the property tax return reporting requirements in multiple states.
Provide support for tax incentive projects and associated reporting.
Prepare and review income tax account reconciliations along with required payments.
Monitor and reconcile income tax payments.
Conduct research on tax issues and handle tax notices promptly.
Monitor changes in tax law to facilitate effective planning, compliance, and reporting.
Assist with the management/organization of insurance related matters.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA preferred
Minimum 5 years' experience
Exhibits a strong foundation of accounting, tax reporting, and technical taxation skills.
Intermediate Microsoft Office computer skills, especially with Excel.
Excellent analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Exceptional prioritization, organization, and time management skills.
Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
Adheres to strict deadlines.
Works independently without direct supervision.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Tax preparation experience with C Corps, S Corps, Partnerships & individuals.
