CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) has been retained by Hader Industries, Inc. to identify and assist in the hiring of their Controller. The Controller will be responsible for the entire Accounting and Finance functions while working closely with the organization's leadership.

The three subsidiaries are Fabri-Tech, Inc. who provides custom metal fabrications, Hader Incorporated who manufacture and remanufacture hydraulic components supplying the material handling market, and Hader-Seitz, Inc. who manufacture custom engineered hydraulic cylinders. Essential Accounting Functions -
Direct the completion of month end close processes including internal and external financial reporting, for a multi-company group
Prepare monthly financial statements and financial reporting package for the leadership team
Prepare the monthly supporting work paper files
Prepare or supervise bank reconciliations, run reports, and complete other activities required to assure a complete and accurate month-end close.
Prepare or supervise the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, data forecasts, cash flow data and other reports.
Serve as primary contact with independent accounting firm to keep the firm informed of any significant procedural changes, changes in accounting practices, reporting requirements, financial results and upcoming review. Assist with data gathering for all tax compliance and tax planning including sales & use tax
Ensure all taxes are filed and paid; cash flow preparation for quarterly payments; and tax planning
Lead all cash management activities and including protection of assets
Oversee the accounting modules of the ERP system.
Project management, especially relating to the ERP system and employee access / controls.
Essential Analysis Functions -
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for review by leadership team to explain organization's financial results, specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products
Consolidate a wide range of operating and financial projections for the development of short-term and long-term business plans
Gather and analyze data.
Analysis of inventory valuation, levels, and variances
Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare reports comparing expected costs to actual production costs
What You'll Need -
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. MSA, MBA and/or CPA a strong plus.
Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a Controllership capacity
Strong understanding of general accounting principles, an interest in and understanding of business priorities and dynamics and how various metrics impact the business, and a strong understanding of cost accounting
Strong process improvement skillset. Continuing to find areas to become more efficient
Strong computer skills including management of computer financial applications and expertise in Microsoft suite as well as automated accounting systems
Must possess a strong sense of urgency to respond to and address needs of the company, balanced with good instincts and a strong attention to detail.
