We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as Information Technology Director. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of information technology operations, strategy, and systems integration at our Greensboro, NC and Frackville, PA facilities. You will play a critical role in aligning our IT initiatives with the overall business objectives of the company, ensuring seamless operations and driving innovation in our technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the company's objectives and promote efficiency, security, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify technology needs and opportunities for innovation within the manufacturing processes.

Infrastructure Management:
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the manufacturing plant's IT infrastructure, including network systems, servers, databases, and communication systems.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems to support uninterrupted operations.

Team Leadership:
  • This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
  • Lead and manage a growing team of IT professionals.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Security and Compliance:
  • Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures to safeguard company data, intellectual property, and systems from internal and external threats.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards related to data security and privacy.

Vendor Management:
  • Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and technology partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services and solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and licensing agreements to optimize costs and maximize value for the company.

Project Management:
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and implementations, within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in IT leadership roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, systems administration, network security, and cloud computing.
  • Experience with implementation and integration of ERP systems, manufacturing execution systems (MES), and industrial automation technologies is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic IT initiatives that drive business value and support growth objectives.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP, ITIL) are a plus.

Work Environment:

The role will be on-site at our manufacturing plants in Greensboro, NC and Frackville, PA. Hours will be Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm ET with some work required outside of typical hours on an as-needed basis as our plants run 24/7.
