We are seeking a dynamic operations leader, who has enjoyed a successful career with increasing responsibilities to orient the local team and its organization, as well as the manufacturing and business processes, within the site. This individual will be a part of the Global Operations Leadership Team to help augment the supply chain and streamline the integration of new production setups, including integration of new business acquisitions, capacity expansion, and regional/global consolidations of operations. The position will champion the deployment of global best practices and consistency of policies in support of a growing regional operation. The successful candidate will have strong coaching, communication, and organizational skills to expand an industry-leading group. He/She will drive the design and implementation of steadfast production systems to meet current and future business needs. This leader will possess a passion for developing people, and the skills to guide medium and long-term planning, with an emphasis on processes and continuous improvement, driving performance, and embracing innovative technologies. This professional will possess the desire to grow in the role and take on additional responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Champions and promotes a strong safety culture
Attracts and develops people working in production, manufacturing engineering and maintenance, production planning and scheduling, plant-level tactical purchasing as well as logistic teams
Develop and implement functional objectives, plans, and targets for production, manufacturing technical support, warehouse, and logistic operations
Promotes employee engagement and improves employee productivity while embracing a highly inclusive culture; Fosters team members' participation
Acts as a connector among all site-based functions and augments the group, breaking down any silos
Plan and implement budgets, local policies, and procedures to support operations target setting and achievement
Drives increased productivity and cost efficiency on-site through new or revised production systems and working methods
Leads continuous improvement and analyzes internal operations to identify areas of process enhancement for optimum utilization materials, labor and overhead expenses, supplies, maintenance and repair budgets, utilities, and facility services
Steers capital deployment in the site through project prioritization, specifications, justification, implementation, and follow-through
Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline manufacturing processes and the use of resources
Deploys automation solutions, supervisory systems, data collection, industry 4.0, and controls, as needed
Develops actionable operating plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term business objectives, including throughput, efficiency, and key projects
Improves manufacturing output, supply-chain efficiency, the quality of the spend, delivery performance, and information sharing in the region
Specifies optimized manufacturing equipment and plant layout to minimize waste and process variation
Leverages best practices and benchmarks, partnering with operations leaders to develop and maintain corporate standards
Collaborates cross-functionally and globally to meet operations goals while providing expertise and guidance on critical operations matters
Manages a multi-year production technology plan, working closely with global solution development, quality, and regulatory leaders
Develops roadmaps, organizes workshops, and enhances guidelines and assessments
Facilitates, communicates, implements, and monitors the adherence to operations-related policies, best practices, and standards in the region
Monitors operational performance and drives corrective measures, as needed.
Supports M&A growth strategy, as needed, and contributes to strategic initiatives that are important to the Global Ops. team outside the four walls of the site

Experience and Education
Experience leveraging a culture of safety
Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations with 5+ years as a Plant Manager, Site Leader, or Director/VP of Operations
Demonstrated success in leading continuous improvement and capital projects
Prior experience in industries such as Packaging, Plastics, Food & Beverage, and/or Pharma is a plus.
