Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a dynamic individual to join their expanding Finance team as the Finance Systems Project Lead. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in the implementation and management of enterprise systems, driving the company's profitable growth. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead the development and deployment of SAP solutions across all aspects of our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and execution of SAP implementation projects across various business functions including Finance, Retail, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to align Finance and IT strategies with overall business objectives.
Conduct thorough business process analyses to identify opportunities for leveraging enterprise platforms and industry-standard processes to optimize business functions.
Guide internal teams in SAP project execution, user support, and continuous improvement efforts.
Identify and address gaps in standard processes, exploring solutions such as interfacing with other software platforms or developing custom programs.
Provide training and support to end users to ensure seamless business operations.
Work closely with software and service partners to deliver technical solutions and resolve issues.
Drive the documentation of processes in alignment with the client's business model and terminology.
Promote the adoption of standardized ways of working, methods, and tools across the organization.
Stay updated on the latest developments and offerings in enterprise systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, management information systems, business, finance, or a related field.
Over 10 years of experience in implementing and managing SAP solutions.
Minimum of 2 years of people management experience.
Proficiency in S4 HANA.
Strong understanding of financial business processes and their integration with SAP systems.
Demonstrated experience in managing projects and teams.
Experience in Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Sales & Distribution (SD), and/or Plant Maintenance (PM) is desirable.
Familiarity with 3rd party financial systems such as travel and expense management, month-end close automation, SEC reporting, and FP&A is advantageous.
Ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate effectively across teams and levels.
Proven ability to act decisively and work effectively in fast-paced environments.
Resourceful with a track record of achieving results with small teams.
Estimated 25% travel within the US depending on project needs.
