Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Shop Foreman to lead our team in the execution of cutting-edge fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a strong background in metal fabrication, and a passion for fostering continual growth within their team. As the Fabrication Shop Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our fabrication shop, ensuring excellence in execution, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire a team of technicians and fabricators, guiding them through the successful execution of fabrication projects.
Coordinate and optimize project activities, ensuring efficient workflow and strict adherence to project schedules.
Monitor project progress, proactively identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
Uphold the highest standards of safety and quality, ensuring all work complies with regulations and company policies.
Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks, maintaining rigorous standards of excellence.
Maintain detailed project documentation and reports, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Collaborate closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Provide continuous training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of professional development and growth.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in metal fabrication, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of fabrication techniques, systems, and processes.
Proven experience in welding.
Demonstrated experience in people management.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on empowering and developing team members.
Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, maintaining a positive and solution-oriented approach.
Experience with project management software and tools is preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Fabrication, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant certifications in fabrication or project management are a plus.
