As a Sr. Business Analyst IT - Sales & Marketing Systems within STAAR Surgical's Information Technology team, this individual plays a critical role working closely with the business and across the Information Technology organization defining, delivering and supporting IT Sales and Marketing business solutions and supporting roadmaps. In summary this position: • Provides cost effective business systems and applications analysis in support of the development and implementation of business applications. • Includes evaluation, analysis, documentation of requirements, translation into proper system requirement specifications and configuration. • Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both end-user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems, applications and industry requirements. • Operates as a liaison between technical personnel and the appropriate end-user departments. • Evaluates and translates end user needs and problems to technical associates and/or vendors where appropriate. • Understands the business implications of technical solutions and assists in defining and documenting the technology solutions to support any future business needs. • Instructs end users new technology and enhancements using all appropriate communication tools as well as providing support for existing system. • Monitors and maintains applications and restores services for end users. • Analyzes application problems and coordinates workable solutions. • Ensures availability and performance of systems and application environments through proactive as well as reactive analysis and maintenance • Leads new system selection processes including requirement gathering, RFP development, and software vendor selection • Manages service providers/vendors supporting business systems • Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
? Prefer undergraduate degree and 6-8 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 4-6 years relevant experience.
EXPERIENCE • Prefer 10+ years of relevant experience. • 6+ years working with Sales Force Sales Cloud • 3+ years of IT management experience managing systems supporting Sales Force Sales Cloud.
SKILLS
? Expert knowledge of business systems processes within the medical device manufacturing industry, including managing accounts and contacts, opportunity management, mange sales teams and activities
? Experience analyzing, designing, configuring, and supporting Salesforce implementations, including integrated apps and tools
? Experience managing and implementing advanced configurations such as custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, flows, and workflow rules
? Certified Salesforce Administrator having experience with Sales Cloud, and SFDC Lightning framework
? Understands impact of emerging business trends and their implications for STAAR Surgical and its customers.
? Excellent mentoring skills for developing subordinate staff.
? Expert knowledge of and ability to put into practice commonly used SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.).
? Lead large scale or complex business systems and application upgrades/ enhancement development and installations
? Define cost and time estimates for implementation/development projects
? Provide Level 1 support for the applications in the portfolio
