We are seeking a dynamic Fragrance Evaluator with a passion for fragrances as well as strong olfactive skills and creative mindset for our Ft. Lauderdale, FL office.
He or she is the guide to perfumers in the fragrance development process. You will need to work from an existing fragrance portfolio, as well as develop new and pertinent ideas for projects.
The Fragrance Evaluator should also be well versed in the cross category beauty market, current and future olfactory trends, and assess consumer preferences.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:
Requires a comprehensive knowledge of perfumery ingredients and fragrance market: Fine Fragrance, Personal Care, Air Care
Make preliminary and final selection of fragrances that suit customer's requirements
Maintain complete knowledge of fragrance library
Select fragrances from the library for customer projects
Work with perfumers to assist in creating Innovative/winning fragrances
Coordinate with Application Lab and Marketing to complete the project's requirements.
Establish corporate image while participating in trade shows.
Specialize in cross-category by tracking new launches, coordinating project meetings, developing new ideas with perfumers based on new launches and trends
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) preferred, from a four-year college or university, and/or three to five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong command of English communication required (both written and verbal)
