Exempt, Full Time, Monday - Friday

Compensation: $120,750.00/yr - $141,750.00/yr

This position is hybrid/remote in CA with in-office activity in Lancaster, CA as needed.

How You Will Make an Impact

The Director of Payroll is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Payroll Department. This position oversees, implements and maintains payroll systems, policies and procedures, and compliance for the department which supports clients across a multiple states and multiple entities. They will oversee and supervise the organization's payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. The payroll team processes payroll for over 2,000 employees. This position reports to the Senior Director, Finance or designee.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or a related field; or 2 years equivalent work experience demonstrating applicable skills in relevant industry or discipline (Equivalent experience is included in and not separate from total years of professional experience)
  • 5 years of experience in Payroll Management
  • 2 years combination experience in a Leadership and management role required
  • Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word, is a must
  • Knowledge of Paycom system for payroll processing preferred
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel in performance of job duties is required
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 10 pounds of force (almost all office jobs)
