The right candidate will bring a blend of industry knowledge in the commodities space as well as a strong understanding of counterparty and trading credit risk.
Responsibilities:
Perform credit analysis on counterparts and recommend credit limits
Negotiate terms within commercial and credit agreements
Support complex lines of credit on trading counterparts
Collaborate closely with key members within the credit group as well as legal, compliance, trading, and other functions within the finance department
Serve as an active participant in their ETRM vendor review, selection, implementation, and integration initiative.
Prepare risk issues that require approval of the Energy Risk Committee at committee meetings, maintain current and prior versions of the Policy, and facilitate the annual Policy review process.
Qualifications:
5+ years of credit risk experience in an energy trading or commodity environment
