About Us: Cars and Credit Master is an automotive dealership group servicing automotive buyers with its affiliated Related Finance Company (RFC) in the subprime lending matrix. The company continues to look for talented and dedicated team members to help achieve our goal of becoming a major regional and national player in the subprime financing space.

The Learning & Development Specialist will play a pivotal role within Human Resources function, serving as a dedicated resource and subject matter expert in Learning & Development. In this position, you will contribute to fostering a culture of continuous employee growth and development at Cars and Credit Master and its Related Finance Company. Working closely with senior leadership, management, your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and delivering internal educational programs tailored to our departments' needs, as well as sourcing and evaluating external learning opportunities for our employees.

In this role, you will:
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, develop, and deliver captivating training sessions, both in-person and online, tailored to the needs of the departments.
  • Utilize company Learning Management System and content creation tools to create visually appealing SCORM presentations and training materials that resonate with the audience and achieve learning outcomes.
  • Develop and lead a team of Mentors to provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance across teams.
  • Work closely with leadership to identify training needs and opportunities for improvement within the organization.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback mechanisms and performance metrics, adjusting as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Evaluate curricula and content to ensure they align with program objectives and continually update training material to ensure relevance and accuracy of material.
  • Perform other Human Resources duties as required.

You should have:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Education, Training, Business or HR related field.
  • At least 5 years proven experience in learning and development.
  • Proficiency in G Suite and MS Office Suite. Advanced knowledge of MS PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and development strategies.
  • Exceptional attention to mission-critical details and accuracy, professional attitude, including strong organization and time management skills with minimal supervision. Okay we know "detail-oriented" is on about every job description - but we really mean it!
