Grassi Investment Management a leading top wealth management firm in the Silicon Valley with over 1B in AUM is looking for a Financial Consultant with strong marketing and sales experience.
Our ideal candidate would be from a large firm looking to bring their expertise and knowledge to our boutique firm. Candidates must be personable, efficient, organized, and able to work independently and in a team setting.
Position Overview
In this position, the Financial Consultant would work with high-net-worth individuals and families, developing investment management strategies and coordinating with clients. The candidate will also commit a significant allocation of their time to business development activities in order to build a base of new clients.
Job Duties • Manage, retain and grow business relationships with existing clients. • Communicate current market strategy and portfolio updates to clients. • Act as liaison between clients and portfolio managers. • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified and prospective clients. • Lead development and implementation of sales strategy, including identification and targeting new client
opportunities. • Spearhead new business development initiatives. • Actively manage relationships with prospects to achieve higher conversion rates. • Responsible for client relationship management. • Work with financial intermediaries and spheres of influence to develop a network of referrals.
Qualifications/Skills • Bachelor's degree. • 3-5 years of investment industry or financial services experience. • Experience managing 25-50 million in AUM. • High level of expertise in sales, networking, and relationship building. • Excellent communication skills--verbal, written, and group presentation. • Efficient and excellent time management skills. • Articulate and charismatic, interacts well with people at all levels. • Highly professional work ethic. • CFP a plus.
