Senior financial Analyst is responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting within the organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to gather financial information, conducting financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and providing actionable insights to senior management to support decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of the annual budget and periodic forecasts in collaboration with department heads
Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions
Prepare financial models and scenarios to assess potential outcomes
Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks to measure business performance
Assist with preparation and distribution of timely and accurate financial reports for internal stakeholders and external parties as required
Develop and maintain dashboards and other reporting tools to facilitate data-driven decision-making
Works with various ERP software systems and consolidation, data mining and reporting tools
Assists in Merger & Acquisition (M&A) valuations
Supports ad-hoc reporting assignments as directed
Supports travel requirements as required
Other duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting
Experience Requirements:
Specific Skills and/or Experience with Software, Equipment, etc.
3-5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
Preferred experience with Oracle FCCS/Hyperion Financial Management
Knowledge of ERP business management packages
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools
Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
Analytical and problem-solving experience with strong attention to detail
PowerBI or other data analytics tool experience a plus
