TITLE: Commercial Loan Servicing Portfolio Analyst

CLASSIFICATION: Full-time/ Exempt/Staff Member

REPORTS TO: Director of Loan Servicing

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

As a Portfolio Analyst, you must provide administrative, organizational, and communication support to the Loan Servicing department. Your primary responsibilities will include timely collection and management of loan covenants, financial documents, and post-closing conditions across the loan portfolio. You will use the nCino platform to track and organize borrower information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality while maintaining consistent communication with all necessary parties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Loan Servicing department, including organizing meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Timely Collect loan covenants, financial documents, and post-closing conditions from borrowers in a timely manner, utilizing the nCino platform for efficient tracking and organization.
  • Review borrower-uploaded information and assign to internal staff for review and approval, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Independently organize and manage the collection of financial and other borrower information with confidentiality, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Maintain exceptional customer service standards while handling sensitive borrower information and inquiries.
  • Routinely run reports in nCino to track portfolio performance and assist with ADHOC reporting requests from management and staff.
  • Assist with the Collateral Revaluation process by ordering reports through CoreLogic, running reports in CoStar, and inputting findings into nCino for analysis.
  • Track and request updated proof of insurance from borrowers or their insurance agents when current policies expire, ensuring compliance with loan agreements and risk management protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal, with a professional manner are required. Experience in administrative support, loan servicing, or portfolio management roles within the financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with loan documentation, financial statements, and post-closing processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and produce complex reports using computer programs such as Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize duties and work independently while remaining flexible to changing assignments.
  • Sound understanding of basic office procedures and computer programs (Microsoft Office - nCino or Salesforce a plus).
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality is essential.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 4 years of administrative experience in commercial real estate, lending, or accounting.
  • At least 2 years' experience in Salesforce or similar CRM system.
