Job Overview:
The Associate of Fund Services acts as the main contact/liaison between GLASfunds and various Fund Managers. This position manages planned projects and ad-hoc projects. The position also provides support to other departments within GLASfunds. The primary objective of this position is to ensure seamless GLASfunds-to-Fund Manager onboarding and fund administration.
Responsibilities and Duties: • Maintain the main line of communication between GLASfunds and underlying investment funds. • Coordinate initial investments, additional investments, and redemption requests between GLAS and underlying private funds. • Handle documentation requirements for GLAS entities including, but not limited to, AML/KYC, tax documents, binding legal agreements, etc. • Facilitate internal communication and business workflow as it impacts Investor Relations, Accounting, Research, and Business Development departments. • Assist GLAS auditor in the annual external Audit. • Coordinate efforts between internal departments to ensure timely delivery of all materials. • Distribute appropriate materials and confirmations to Fund Managers when required. • Gather data requests such as redemptions parameter, close cadences, and commitment history and provide to the respective parties. • Maintain fund close dates to ensure fund not deadlines are not missed. • Cleanly track fund close history for historical and future GLAS investments. • Attend internal and external meetings to be available for fund information requests and document dissemination.
