Position Overview:

Your Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assists Vice President and Assistant Vice Presidents of Loan Operations with coordinating and approving the daily activities in Loan Operations Department. Helps monitor and anticipate the work volume, set priorities, and distribute work among subordinates. Ensure all work is processed on time and documented following the binding agreement(s) and Branch's policies and procedures.
  2. Ensures data integrity of all systems and files in support of the operations conducted and that appropriate audit trail is established.
  3. Trains the subordinates and assess their work for accuracy and timeliness and makes recommendations to Department Manager on staffing-related issues.
  4. Helps coordinate workflow and information flow between Loan Operations and other departments in the Bank.
  5. Identifies and reports operational irregularities to Department Manager without delay and takes initiative in resolving exceptions.
  6. Assists Department Manager, Vice President and Assistant Vice Presidents of Loan Operations with establishing and implementing new workflow and/or procedures to improve Department's performance.
  7. Assists Department Manager, Vice President and Assistant Vice Presidents of Loan Operations in updating various manuals in the Department.
  8. Assists Department Manager and Vice President in reviewing non-exempt staff's job performance.
  9. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.


Your Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, economics or accounting or its equivalent with 5+ years of related experience
  2. 3+ years of experience in loan operations in a bank. Bilateral/syndicated/agency loans experience is required. Loan IQ experience (version 6 or later) is highly preferred.
  3. Solid knowledge of accounting theory/bookkeeping and credit instruments.
  4. Good mathematical aptitude.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook Email, Calendar, Word, Excel, Access, Teams, and SharePoint.
  6. Good oral and written communication skills.
  7. Good organizational skills.
  8. Good time management, including punctuality and attendance. During the new hire training period, employees come to the office three days a week for in-person training. Employees are required to come to the office for all other in-person training.
  9. Ability to multitask. Flexibility and teamwork.
