Job Description
Cresset is seeking a Wealth Advisor to represent Cresset's wealth management business. The Wealth Advisor is responsible for client acquisition and retention of client/family relationships, COIs and strong knowledge of the industry's products, solutions and services. Cresset offers investments, financial planning, banking, trust advisory and access to private direct deals. The Wealth Advisor is responsible for a comprehensive client experience utilizing a full product suite offering with the goal to acquire, build and preserve their wealth.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain long term relationships with clients, prospects, COIs and all resources available to build their business
An entrepreneurial approach of building a business with the support of our operations and support functions
Ability to deliver a great client experience by effectively arranging internal and external resources to deliver a comprehensive wealth management solution including but not exclusive to investments, credit, trust and estate
Drive business results by acquiring new assets from existing and new clients
Strong wealth management acumen by understanding public and private markets, portfolio construction and management, goals-based planning, and estate, tax and philanthropic planning considerations
Utilize technology and resources to meet business deliverables and deadlines
Coordinate information that is presented to prospects and clients
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Required; MBA and/or CFA preferred
10+ years of experience in wealth management in a relationship management/business development role
Trained in financial planning, asset allocation and investments
Demonstrated track record of success and strong business acumen
Developed community network and established presence
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and engaged listening
Excellent time management skills including multi-tasking and prioritizing responsibilities
Exceptional problem-solving capabilities in an entrepreneurial environment
Excels in a high-performance culture with accountability and high client centricity
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Develop skills using internal and external technology including Salesforce and Addepar
Series 65 license required; unlicensed candidates required to obtain the license within 90 days of employment
