The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for serving as the Bank's lead financial executive overseeing and representing the Bank's Accounting and Operations Departments and all financial and accounting operations of the Bank. The position is responsible for adhering to all related generally accepted accounting principles, tax and regulatory laws, rules and regulations to adequately and accurately reflect the financial position of the Bank at all times. Participates and assists the Bank in formulating and meeting its overall strategic business plans and goals, including the Bank's capital plan. The CFO also conducts financial and management reporting; prepares forecasting and budgeting; plans, coordinates and executes effective processes related to the Bank's capital, asset and liability structure; develops, implements and monitors accounting policies, procedures, practices and internal controls. Performs direct supervisory duties of Operations staff, and coordinates staff for coverage in all related areas of the department.
ROLE-SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Creation and presentation of Monthly Bank Financials
Manage the Bank's Asset Liability Function including providing information for third party vendors to perform modeling and compiling Committee Package for the Funds Management Committee
Oversight and maintenance of Bank's deferred tax asset
Oversight of bank's accrued expense projections and calculations
Oversight of Loan Stress testing
Oversight of Bank Holding Company accounting
Assist in preparation of the Bank's Strategic and Capital Plans
Oversight of the Bank's vendor management program and Vendor Due Diligence
