Lawrence Harvey has partnered with an exciting SaaS startup that develops a cloud based platform for identifying, designing, and operating alternative energy systems. Their goal is to support clients as they transition to renewable energy sources and reduce carbon emissions. They have raised their Series A round of funding, but are revenue-generating already.
They are searching for a Engineering Manager to join their growing team. This position is split between management duties and hands-on development.
This individual will:
Lead a Team of 5 other developers split across full stack development, frontend, and QA
Participate in hands-on development, as well as work to define roadmaps, conduct code reviews, performance reviews, hiring, and mentor junior engineers
Collaborate with the project manager to groom issues and assign tasks to engineers
Report into the CTO
Background:
Experience managing a software development team
B.S. in Computer Science, or related field.
Extremely proficient with C#/.Net
Prior experience working as a startup
Cloud familiarity is a bonus, but not a requirement
Industry experience is a bonus, but also not a requirement
This is a full time position; this company is headquartered out of San Diego, but this is a fully remote position, and they are a remote-first company. This position will adhere to West Coast working hours.
They are offering a base salary of 175k to 225k + options + full benefits.
