Feith Systems & Software, Inc. is seeing a creative, enthusiastic, and hard-working person with a desire to learn, a focus on collaboration, excellent technical skills, and communication skills to serve as an Information Technology/Database Management Specialist.
The Information Technology/Database Management Specialist provides dedicated direct and general maintenance support for Feith applications at a government customer site located at Fort Meade, Maryland.
Responsibilities:
Provide system engineering and customer service Information Technology (IT) support (server-side and client-side).
Facilitate the development, deployment, operation and expansion of critical guidelines, databases, services, and infrastructure in a multi-tiered Microsoft Windows and Unix Servers environment.
Document IT guidelines and technical standards to ensure ease of use and implementation for all customer Feith applications.
Facilitate the execution of Feith technical projects in accordance with technical requirements.
Administer and train end-users on all customer Feith applications.
Work directly with other organizations to resolve hardware, software and networking issues related to the customer Feith-supported applications.
Assist in planning for future services and infrastructure required to best support the customer Feith applications.
Provide direct support maintenance for all customer Feith applications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
DoD Top Secret Clearance with an investigation or CV date within 5 years
DoD IAT Level II certification (CCNA Security or CySA+ or GICSP or GSEC or Security +CE or SSCP)
5+ years IT experience of any combination in system/database/network administration
Experience in Database Administration focused in SQL databases
Excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
Desired Skills:
DoD IAT Level III certification (CASP+CE or CCNP Security or CISA, or CISSP, GCED, or GCIH, CCSP).
Experience installing and configuring Windows Server 2016 and 2019, Microsoft SQL Server 2022.
Familiar with auditing tools, e.g. SPLUNK
Familiar with Remedy IT Service Management Suite
Experience working with highly sensitive Government programs
