Our client in Lewistown, PA is looking for a Training Coordinator to join their growing team!
This is an onsite/full-time/direct hire position!
Our partner is a top home builder in the US! They are looking for a positive, energetic, skilled training coordinator who will ensure the effective functioning of team member training and development programs that improve individuals' skills and overall facility performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate Team Member Related Training Programs
Implement home-building group training programs and initiatives.
Customize training tools, guides, or course materials, to conduct job skills safely and efficiently.
Partner with production leadership to conduct job skill performance assessments to measure team member's competency for the job skills and document the performance.
Track and evaluate training results to assess the short- and long-term effectiveness of learning programs to support turnover and retention efforts.
Collaborate with leadership to select department trainers and provide coaching necessary for their success.
Work in partnership with the Process Improvement Coordinator to maintain a strong understanding of trends in training, learning, and development of the manufacturing industry.
Training Facilitation
Work with production leadership to schedule training events to prevent excessive production interruption.
Analyze performance data to determine and support the progress of team member training initiatives.
Present information with various instructional techniques or formats, such as classroom training, demonstrations, group discussions, videos, or workshops.
Coordinate orientation program agenda to ensure all facilitators are on time, prepared to deliver objectives, and provide a positive first impression to new team members.
Use adult education strategies to provide educational support to department trainers through train-the-trainer workshops.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Degree in Training & Development or equivalent experience preferred.
Minimum 4 years related experience in training and development or adult education.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
Extensive knowledge of leading training and leadership programs and initiatives.
General knowledge of basic manufacturing principles such as total quality management and process improvement.
Working knowledge of facilitation techniques for in-person and virtual training.
