Collect and reconcile outstanding receivables, enforcing ARC International NA Terms of Sale, resolving charge back and allowances and applying payments of invoices. The integrity of the relationship between ARC and the customer must be maintained at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
? Pull bank receipts daily and post to customer's accounts. Distribute claims items to AR team members.
? Collection of outstanding invoices and researching and resolving disputed invoices.
? Investigation of customer deductions taken to determine their validity and report any issues to management that require adjustments to the customer's account.
? Prepare reports and monthly reconciliations as required.
? Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
? General knowledge of Accounting and understanding of general ledger accounts and how they related to invoices.
? Strong mathematical skills.
? Knowledge of SAP Accounts Receivable module a plus, or other financial accounting system.
?Strong computer skills including proficiency in Google Sheets/Docs
? Good oral and written communication skills including the ability to present ideas and /or facts and recommendations effectively.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
? High School Diploma or equivalent required.
? 1-3 years accounts receivable/payable experience.
? Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
