Job Description:

Our client is hiring a Project and Process Manager. (BANKING)

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of strategic projects, ensuring they are executed within scope, on time, and within budget.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive project success, adhering to industry regulations and the bank's policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, tasks, timelines, and resource allocation. Lead project teams to execute projects effectively and efficiently.
  2. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders, including team members, senior management, and external partners, to ensure alignment and transparency.
  3. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and obstacles. Implement effective risk management strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  4. Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and allocate resources appropriately. Monitor project expenditures and resource utilization.
  5. Quality Assurance: Ensure that projects meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and the bank's policies, maintaining a high level of service and security.
  6. Compliance: Adhere to banking industry regulations and internal policies, ensuring all projects remain compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
  7. Reporting: Prepare regular status reports and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders. Provide clear and accurate documentation of project progress.
  8. Change Management: Implement change management practices when necessary to adapt to evolving project requirements and align with organizational objectives.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in project management, and contribute to the development of best practices.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • 3+ years of project management experience.
  • Focus on financial services or banking projects is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
