Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Head of Sales. The Head of Sales will be responsible for overseeing our wholesale accounts, implementing sales strategies, and leading business development. They will also be responsible for analyzing sales data, monitoring performance, and developing & maintaining relationships with key retail clients.
They will be the main point of contact for all key retail partners and will continue to develop & execute a successful sales strategy (and CRM system) to help grow the company's B2B portfolio. Additional responsibilities include receiving and processing all sales orders from retail partners, logistical/production planning, critical path management, inventory management, and sales reporting.
This position is ideal for someone who is creative and has strong communication skills with a bright, positive energy. We are looking for a candidate who has a true passion for beauty and startup life with the drive & work ethic to grow the brand's B2B portfolio and develop our omnichannel footprint. Must be willing to be available weekday nights & weekends as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and expand retail sales channels across various sectors including grocery, fashion, gift, travel,etc
Prospect new accounts and generate new leads
Maintain effective communication and foster strong relationships with retail and distributor accounts.
Lead initiatives for launching new stores, participating in trade shows, and developing business strategies.
Coordinate in-store promotions and marketing efforts.
Analyze performance metrics of current and prospective accounts, sales teams, and store data to optimize sales and operational efficiency.
Develop and implement retail strategies encompassing pricing, product placement, promotional activities, and data analysis.
Qualifications
3+ years experience in CPG sales
Advanced MS Excel skills
Experience with working and managing CRM platforms (ideally Hubspot)
Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment
Entrepreneurial mindset with a 'self-start' mentality
Be comfortable with a schedule that may potentially require weekday evenings/weekend work
Ability to effectively manage workload, meet deadlines and ensure quality output
Able to work independently and within a team
Ability to travel to trade shows as appropriate

Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 (depending on experience level) + commission on new accounts + bonus
