Job Overview: Our client is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics-Business Central Developer to join our team and support the implementation and upgrades of new systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing ERP solutions using Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central. This role will be pivotal in driving systemic development activities both in Italy and across our international branches.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of Business Central (BC) projects and oversee development activities.
Act as the primary point of contact for all development-related matters.
Identify and report any process gaps to management and propose solutions for process and project improvements.
Collaborate with management to monitor the team's performance KPIs and contract performance KPIs, ensuring long-term compliance and success.
Support developers in resolving technical issues, providing ad hoc solutions, or coordinating with other departments to find resolutions.
Ensure the proper use of corporate EOS tools and adherence to development lifecycle procedures, optimizing team efficiency and meeting deadlines and estimates.
Design and develop modifications or extensions for Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central applications and verticals.
Conduct rigorous testing on changes to ensure validity, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with established standards.
Provide work estimates to assist in defining project priorities and assignments.
Support pre-sales and project managers by estimating development time for prospective projects.
Design and execute data migration plans to Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central.
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central development tools.
Proficiency in reporting tools and methodologies for software analysis and development.
Strong understanding of various business processes and their interactions within ERP implementations.
Experience with Web Services, .NET, Microsoft Visual Studio development environment, Microsoft SQL Server, and operating systems and networks.
API development experience.
Proficiency in Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
Strong communication skills to work cross functionally
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate).
Experience working with Technique ERP system.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies or other project management frameworks.
Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
