Adecco is currently partnering with a luxury based client to fill an Assessor position in North Bergen, NJ. This role will be full-time contract and will be 5 days onsite. This position is not commutable via public transportation.
Primary Purpose: The primary role of the Assessor is to support the craftsman by accurately assessing and entering in all products/orders to be repaired and include raw materials with the order in the NJ Repairs Workshop.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in to: • Receive/unbox and properly stage Repairs and (Re)Loved products from direct mail, retail stores, distribution centers and department stores. • Assess and sort products into different categories as defined by brand guidelines. • Assess and properly sort product into the correct repair batches and Pillars. • Enter all order data into the system timely and accurately. • Stage repair orders and product accurately for the next step in the process. • Pack/ship product as needed back to customer for non-repairable orders or as required by management. • Order, receive and organize raw materials inventory as needed. • Handle issues related to customer orders. • Support Customer Care team with customer related issues.
The accomplished individual will possess: • One year data entry experience preferred • Must be highly organized and must possess a strong sense of urgency • Ability to work well under pressure and with an aggressive timeline is essential. • Excellent typing skills is a must. • Good communication skills, written and verbal, as well as strong interpersonal skills are required. • At a minimum, high school diploma or equivalent. • Proficient in MS office including: Word, Excel, and Outlook preferably • Must be willing to assist with other functions as needed • Eager to learn and increase skills and quality of work • Professionalism in attitude, appearance, and approach • Must have a positive attitude and work well with others • Must have the ability to lift to 25 lbs. frequently and 25 - 50 lbs. occasionally. • Position requires prolonged standing up to 9 hours per day.
