We are hiring a System Administrator to provide technical administration and support for an existing CDW Healthcare customer. This role involves overseeing critical technology solutions including network, servers/storage/hyperconverged, Windows solutions (e.g., DNS, DHCP), firewalls, O365, and M365. Experience in healthcare environments is highly desired.
Responsibilities:
Consult with IT manager and other departments as needed.
Provide technology assistance to staff and customers.
Assess and resolve issues with key systems and solutions.
Ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of systems.
Monitor hardware, software, and system performance metrics.
Update computer software and upgrade hardware and systems.
Maintain databases and ensure system security.
Document processes and perform diagnostic tests.
Stay informed about technological advancements and trends in healthcare technology.
Proficient use of helpdesk software (AutoTask).
Execute and maintain cybersecurity objectives.
Requirements:
Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries.
Ability to prioritize and resolve multiple support requests efficiently.
In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
Ability to assess technology needs and train end-users.
Document processes and monitor performance metrics.
Stay updated with technical innovation and trends in IT support.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
This is an initial 6 month contract and will require on-site work 3-4 days per week.
