The RF Technician will be responsible for the testing and production processes by using various test equipment on our client's products for quality assurance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Solid understanding of RF theory and how RF radio's work.
Clearly understand the production process, forms, and testing procedures.
Competently use various test equipment to test products.
Identify non-conforming products and properly complete associated forms and procedures.
Motorola, Kenwood or ICOM RF experience are highly preferred, but not required.
Qualifications:
An associate degree or equivalent from a college or technical school; or 4 years related work experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Electronic Technology.
Demonstrated 4+ years of experience with two way radios and RFcommunctions.
Demonstrate basic skills in mechanical and electrical applications.
Ability to use a wide variety of power and hand tools.
Ability to use test equipment: network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, and oscilloscope.
The ability to obtain E-rail Safe Training Certification ( client provided training).
The ability to obtain MSHA Certification ( client provided training).
Competent in Microsoft Office Products - Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
Proficiency in radio programming software and windows systems.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record - insurable at standard rates
Be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to communicate well at all levels in the organization.
Ability to write reports and present material within the company and to customers.
Possess the ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts
Understand drafting and need to know how to read a map and plot out the designs.
Knowledge of 2-way radio systems, including but not limited to Motorola, Kenwood, or ICOM.
Sales and business training preferred.
Navy or Air Force experience highly desired.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is from $62,400 - $83,200 DOE and a comprehensive benefits package.
