Job Description:

This role work directly with plans, supervise, and coordinates in collaboration with Operation Management all production and operation's needs, planning, data recollecting and engineering departments, facilitating efficient manufacturing operations across the organization.

Collaborate with all Operations leaders a comprehensive system and computer database for all documents to be retained within required timeframes by the FDA, USDA, and SQF regulatory agencies.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
• Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create and implement process utilizing methodologist and proven production and supply chain systems with a defect tracking system recollected in the utilization of improvements for the full Operations process.
• Supervise or directly collect and maintain data of the latest production levels to implements necessary control within the manufacturing processes.
• Distribute latest revisions to all appropriate users and ensure that obsolete documentation is removed from distribution and archived appropriately.
• Manage and/or maintain a computer database of all filed documentation that ensures fast retrieval of documents with all Operations state holders' team.
• Keep track and review status of daily batch and HACCP records for accuracy.
• Manager or perform all duties to generate documents as necessary utilizing document change control procedures.
  • Manage and supervise on the enforcement of standards in the areas of regulatory compliance under guidance of the COO.
  • Notify COO, Operations Managers and Quality Management Team of quality problems or any quality issue.

• Collaborates with other manufacturing managers and leadership to set and assess priorities across teams.
• Assesses cost effectiveness and feasibility of manufacturing processes; makes and implements recommendations to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• In conjunction with the Operations Management Team, update and support food safety programs and food safety systems: HACCP, Sanitation, and any other areas.
• Perform and /or participate in systematic audits in conjunction with Quality Assurance Team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• HACCP, PCQI, and SQF Intentional Adulteration training/certifications required.
• Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written.
• Ability to complete work within given deadlines.

• Work is primarily conducted in an office environment but may require duties within a large, open floor Production area.

• Workers are required to wear hair and beard nets, and gloves to protect the product from possible contamination. Workers are also required to wear and are provided personal protective equipment such as frocks and nonslip shoes/boots.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 40 pounds.
