Ensure products meet company and customer Quality standards.
Lead multi-disciplinary teams to address Quality issues and develop corrective actions,
Train and support Associates with Quality standards and methods of documentation.
Identify root cause and implement corrective actions for product quality issues.
Analyze SPC data for process improvement, corrective actions, and other activities.
Lead, develop, and implement best practices that emphasize defect prevention in a team environment.
Team with Plant Engineering to coordinate the PPAP for new programs, Engineering changes, and process improvements.
Train and support Associates with Quality standards and methods of documentation
This role is part of the Bluffton Quality Team and reports to the Plant Quality Manager.
SUCCESS FACTORS:
Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of Quality Engineer; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Senior Quality Engineer and 3-5 years as Quality Engineer in an automotive manufacturing environment; prefer metal stamping automotive manufacturing environment.
Demonstrate ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team to resolve Quality related issues and corrective actions.
Led FMEA, PPAP and other Quality standards and documentation meetings with the multi-disciplinary team.
Expertise in understanding Quality management systems, standards, and regulations.
Ability to train Associates on Quality procedures and documentation.
Ability to lead internal audits, layered process audits and corrective actions.
Proven leadership ability, excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
Advanced proficiency with MSOffice, ERP and Quality Systems.
