We are seeking a Sr. Desktop Support Technician to provide advanced-level application support to our employees. In this role, you will maintain personal computers and related hardware and assist Network Engineers with the installation of software and hardware.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform advanced-level computer system maintenance, repairs, and installations.
Monitor and control computer equipment by operating the central console or an online monitor.
Utilize operating systems utilities to monitor hardware systems.
Identify and report problems within the department, communicate them to the supervisor, and actively participate in resolution methods.
Analyze existing methods and develop alternatives to enhance operational and production efficiency.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience:
High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
Two years of technical experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
Dell certification: Preferred
Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) - Infrastructure and Desktop: Preferred
