This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for quality designs, and shaping the vision Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC NW) to deliver demolition, repair, and new construction projects.

Duties
  • Execute difficult and highly complex projects with far reaching scope and effect to include writing Design Build (DB) Request for Proposals (RFPs); creating construction design plans, drawings, and specifications; and testing and accepting critical mechanical systems.
  • Investigate defective mechanical equipment and determine optimal repair solutions.
  • Communicate with clients, teammates, and management regarding project status, mechanical systems, and project risks. Communicate orally and in writing.
  • Lead diverse team of engineers, architects, contractors, and AE partners to deliver design products and manage their construction
  • Track the progress of complex design projects to ensure they are delivered within scope, within budget and on schedule.

Qualifications

Experience on Developing Quality Designs, and Overseeing the demolition, repair, and new construction projects assigned to NAVFAC NW.
