We are seeking a skilled engineer to lead the design and development of electronic circuits for controlling brushless DC Motors. You will be responsible for the development of Power Electronic Assemblies interfacing with both external and internal stakeholders.
What you will be doing:
Develop system specifications based on requirements & specifications, translating these requirements into actionable designs
Write and develop comprehensive analyses for circuits, including justification reports
Design and execute engineering and certification test plans, meticulously documenting results
Conduct software and hardware integration and testing, ensuring seamless functionality
Create electronic circuitry for both low and high voltage environments (28 Volt, 270 Volt, 115-400Hz AC)
Utilize CAN bus applications and other communication protocols
Implement effective thermal management strategies for electronic assemblies in various environmental conditions
Utilize Altium and other relevant software for application and electronic board layouts, adhering to IPCA standards
Perform minor software debugging, providing evaluation and diagnostics
What you need to qualify:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics
10+ years of experience designing electronic circuit boards and validation processes
Prior experience in Aerospace and Aircraft applications preferred
Possess a solid understanding of power electronics, including BLDC motors and induction motors
Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot electronics hardware and software for corrective action
Knowledge of C++, DSP Programming, PSPice, MATLAB modeling, CAN serial bus protocol, or LabView is highly desirable
Excellent teamwork skills and a dedicated approach to program success
Ability to remain committed to task completion, even in the face of demanding schedules
Willingness to travel as needed
