Location: Hybrid 2 days/week in Norwalk, CT or NYC office
Our client is looking to hire a Senior Android Developer role for their Technology team to create and invest innovative products for millions of customers using mobile Android app. Looking for exceptional candidate that are motivated by high goals and the ability to develop new products from scratch.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate and develop new products in an Agile environment.
Program with the latest Android and Kotlin technologies and tools.
Utilize RESTful API design and document a client-server protocol, and implement the client protocol, and implement the client side of documented protocol.
Mentor and guide junior Android developers in standard methodologies.
Collaborate with Product Managers and UI/UX specialists.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience with Android development.
Fluency with the Java programming language, Kotlin, and Android SDK.
Proficiency with Dalvik VM, ART, and memory management.
Expertise in asynchronous programming mechanisms and a deep understanding of Kotlin Flows.
Worked on MVVM, Flows, Coroutines, advance Kotlin components, etc.
Integrated couple of 3rd party SDKs (payment getaways, analytical tools, marketing tools, Firebase integrations, etc)
Experience with Android UI Development and DI such as Jetpack Compose Jetpack Navigation)
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
