DB2 Database Administrator at Horizontal Talent in Kansas City, Missouri

Job Description:

Looking for a HYBRID DB2 Database Administrator contractor to work a 12 month assignment. They would like someone who specifically has 3+ years of experience working within DB2 Database Administration. This DB2 Administrator will be working on a project where they are migrating current DB2 that is on a mainframe platform to a Linux platform. This DB2 Database Administrator will create objects, deploy schema conversations, do performance tuning with DB2 databases, handle performance concerns and impacts and help with the identification of issues. Candidates who have Linux experience is a PLUS.
