Location: Elizabeth, NJ
Salary: $70,000.00 USD Annually - $80,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Transportation Supervisor for their location in Northern New Jersey.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily transportation operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Supervise a team of drivers and coordinate their schedules.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of routes, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize logistics processes.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with Tanker and Airbrakes endorsement.
- Proven experience in transportation or logistics.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and solve problems on the go.
- Familiarity with transportation software and route planning tools.
