Baer is looking for Junior Client Delivery Manager for a 6-month Federal Remote Project.

Title: Junior Client Delivery Manager
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C


Responsibilities:

• Represent the client to customers as the overall engagement leader, maintaining a strong relationship and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.


• Manage the defined project scope, schedule, and delivery of engagements from sales handoff through post-cutover hyper-care support, adhering to contract terms and requirements.


• Understand contract details thoroughly and manage all engagements to meet in-scope requirements and customer expectations.


• Coordinate and facilitate customer onboarding kickoff meetings, scope validation workshops, and other customer-facing discussions as necessary, either virtually or in-person.


• Onboard customers into the client's ticketing system efficiently and accurately.


• Document and manage decisions, actions, and issues throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and alignment among all stakeholders.


• Define, document, and manage risks from identification through mitigation, ensuring proactive risk management throughout the engagement.


• Coordinate and facilitate Build Sheet Management, Change Management, and Escalation Management processes as per client guidelines and project requirements.


• Deliver regular project and customer status updates to client leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with expectations.


• Facilitate or participate in internal meetings and reviews as required, collaborating effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.


• Manage, track, and report on incidents, service requests, and ticket aging, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

Required Experience:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including Directors and VPs.


• Proven experience in project management, particularly in leading technical engagements and delivering projects within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Business, Math, or Statistics OR significant professional equivalence.

Preferred Experience:

• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts, software, and systems (e.g., networking, virtualization, VMware, hypervisors).


• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).


• Understanding of SAP Software, implementations, upgrades, and related processes.


• Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus.


• Practical understanding of cloud architecture and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) operations models.


• Familiarity with enterprise technology infrastructure, including networks, storage, and server software (e.g., Windows Server, Linux).


• Prior experience with SAP Mission Critical Applications (e.g., Financial Systems, Billing Systems, Procurement Systems) and/or SAP BASIS.


• Experience working in a Managed Services environment is advantageous.
