Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring for a Production Manager- Bilingual (English/Spanish) in Bartlett, IL for a growing food products supplier.


As a Production Manager you will be responsible for managing production supervisors.

• Plan and assign work, implement policies and procedures, and recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
• Manage, develop, and motivate direct reports. Develop production Supervisors
• Develop supervisors, help them identify areas where they need to improve and assign work or training that enables them to improve.
• Balance quality, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results and continuously improve in all areas.
• Ensure problem solving and troubling shooting skills are used by employees to identify root causes and to take fast, effective action to resolve production problems.
• Work closely with Scheduling so that the overall performance of the company including Customer Service is maximized.
• Monitor, measure, and report on production related performance.

This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.


The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:

• 
  Bachelor's Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or four years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination or education and experience.
• 
  Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  .
  
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment required
  
• Must be able to come in for production meetings with off-shift teams (occasionally working 2nd or 3rd shift to achieve results, train)
• Must be able to walk, climb stairs, and climb ladders
• Must be able to lift as much as 50 pounds on an occasional basis

Salary: $120,000-160,000/year
+ 10% Bonus
