Volt is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team in Gardena, CA. Take on a pivotal role in operating and setting up vertical, horizontal, and 5-axis CNC mills, ensuring every detail meets our high standards.


Schedule: 1st shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM


Pay Rate: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

*The pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.


Your Role:

• 
  Operate & Set Up: Skillfully handle vertical, horizontal, and 5-axis CNC mills to execute precise machining operations.
• 
  Blueprint Mastery: Review electronic or written blueprints and specifications to ensure accuracy in machining processes.
• 
  Programming Expertise: Utilize GibbsCam to program machines efficiently, optimizing feed rates and speeds for superior results.
• 
  Precision Monitoring: Monitor and control feed rates and speeds, ensuring workpieces are properly lubricated and cooled throughout the machining process.
• 
  Quality Assurance: Verify the accuracy of cuts and dimensions against blueprints and specifications, maintaining our commitment to excellence.
• 
  Controller Familiarity: Experience with DMG Mori, Fadal, Fanuc, and Siemens controls is preferred.

What We're Looking For:

• 
  Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in machining and Programming with GibbsCam, demonstrating proficiency in blueprint comprehension and technical document interpretation.
• 
  Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical, vocational, or military training, or related experience preferred.
