Description: Stellar is seeking an experienced Field Safety manager to assist in establishing, promoting, directing and maintaining safe work practices and procedures in industrial construction facilities throughout the USA. You will audit job sites to ensure they maintain a safe, accident free, and healthy work environment., establish training schedules and conduct periodic training to ensure compliance with OSHA and other required safety standards, as well as coordinate safe work initiatives with field crews, subcontractors, and other vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree preferred; minimum 5 years of experience in construction safety in industrial settings
• License and Registration requirements include: OSHA 30 hour Construction Course (minimum), First Aid/CPR/AED; relevant safety certifications (e.g. CSP, ASP, CHST), competent person training in scaffolding, fall protection, trenching/excavations. OSHA 500 trainer, EM-385-1-1 (US Army Corps of Engineer Safety and Health Requirements Manual) preferred
• Willing to reside at job site, with movement to another site throughout the US upon completion
