Job Description:

In support of Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault, we are seeking a Program Analyst III with experience in supporting DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/ principles/organizational protocols.

Provides analytical support in any of the following disciplines: engineering, science, business, financial, cost, or program management. Typical duties performed may include; analysis, design, development, testing, integration, logistics, program management, cost, financial, or management analysis, or maintenance of systems, processes, programs, offices or products. Develops and/or reviews acquisition documentation, program reports, papers, drawings, specifications, procedures.

The specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

Support the PM AAA / AAV / ACV Team with all aspects of Program Management to include, but not limited to, acquisition strategy research, drafting and updating documents for the Program Office, and maintain configuration control of those documents on the PM AAA portal.

Assist the Government in the creation, update, and tracking of acquisition and program documentation (e.g., program briefs, organizational charts, staffing spreadsheets).

Review all documents for grammar, spelling, and technical content as it applies to DoD policies, and provide recommended changes.

Develop briefs to include IPT briefs, Congressional briefs, MS briefs, Gate Review briefs, and PMRs.

Update and maintain top level program schedules, as well as various detailed schedules to support brief development.

Participate in all pre-brief meetings associated with the brief development, capture recommended changes, and incorporate those changes into the brief.

- Drafting the design document using the template

- Assist in the creation of a Project Plan

- Assist in the creation of an Integrated Master Schedule

- Conduct market research for some of these Engineering Change Proposals

- Assist in the examination of potential materiel solutions with the goal of identifying the most promising option (Analysis of Alternatives).

Education/Experience

A Bachelors Degree with six (6) years of related progressive professional work experience in program analytics.

Defense Acquisition University (DAU) experience is a plus.

Specific/Preferred Requirements

Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
