Job Description:



We are seeking an Accounting Specialist with specialized knowledge and skills in applying US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP). In this role, you will assist in IPS's monthly financial close process. Your attention to detail, professional standards, and ethical principles will be essential.



Responsibilities:

• Post journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions.


• Classify and code transactions to appropriate accounts.


• Reconcile general ledger and bank accounts routinely, following predetermined standards.


• Take necessary steps to adjust any discrepancies.


• Assist in preparing monthly work papers and other account analyses.


• Contribute to the Monthly Financial Close process, including the consolidation process for US GAAP-compliant financial statements.


• Distribute Monthly Financial Reporting Packages and other department-generated reports or analyses.


• Collaborate with internal and external auditors.


• Create requested reports and provide statistical and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.


• Manage multiple detailed tasks and assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.


• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.


• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.


• Highly reliable with excellent organizational skills for managing documents and information.


• Proficiency in general ledger accounting and strong analytical skills.


• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and MS Query.


• Familiarity with other MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Oracle Fusion.
