Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Shipping and Receiving Specialist to support the Materials Management & Transportation team based out of Coppell, TX .
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities
Oversees incoming/outgoing shipments for identification and damage.
Coordinates and confirms receipt/shipping documentation for internal/external customers.
Serves as point of contact for priority incoming/outgoing shipments. Identifies carrier for shipments and coordinates requirements.
Verifies accuracy of incoming/outgoing shipment.
Identifies and resolves shipping/receiving discrepancies.
This position requires high level of SAP knowledge and being able to solve problems independently.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications/Experience:
Minimum of 3 years' experience handling chemicals and/or hazardous materials
Minimum of 3 years' experience with SAP
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in warehouse and/or logistics operations
Experience working with a computer based inventory management system or warehouse management system
Experience working with warehouse equipment (including educational and operational training)
Typical Education/Experience
Typically 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
