Basic Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous NDT training and work experience is required.
  • Ability to pass certification exams within 6 months of hire date is required.
  • Flexible work schedule and availability for overtime is a plus
  • Minimum of two years metallurgical experience working in a manufacturing environment or equivalent
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' metallurgical experience working in a manufacturing environment or equivalent
  • Previous certification as a Level II NDT Inspector. Position normally requires a minimum of three years' experience as a Certified NDT Level 1 or equivalent. Must successfully complete adequate training courses necessary to pass Level 2 certification examination.

  • Operates all NDT equipment in accordance with applicable company, government and customer specifications and specific division written procedures.
  • Disposes of all rejected material/parts per the prescribed procedures.
  • Sets up and calibrates equipment.
  • Reads and interprets indications and evaluates them with reference to applicable standards and specifications.
  • Organizes and reports test results.
  • Assist in training new employees in this position.
  • Must pass multiple examinations for certification 3 years.
  • Performs other tasks of equal or lesser skill as required.
  • Works in safe manner that promotes the health and wellbeing of the individual and environment:
  • Comply with all EHS rules and regulations and supervisory instructions.
  • Report all incidents including injuries, spills, fires, property damage, and near misses to their supervisor.
  • Perform other tasks as needed in support of manufacturing operations, customers and suppliers.
