Job Description:

Vancouver Clinic is seeking a full-time Clinical Lab Assistant !

As a Clinical Lab Assistant you will perform tasks of lab report retrieval, report distribution, report filing and other lab process flows and clerical functions.Ensure accurate and timely data entry, scanning, and faxing. Provide excellent customer service on the phone and in person to all patients and clinicians. Ensure proper patient identification and labeling of specimens. Follow all clinic and laboratory policies and procedures. Perform CLIA waived and moderate complexity testing. Must be able to troubleshoot, prioritize specimens (STAT, ASAP, Routine, Pre-op, etc.), multitask, and be flexible in order to accommodate the needs of the laboratory.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00a-5:00p. Hiring range is between $18.15-$23.75 /hour, and placement in the range is based on an evaluation of experience

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Prefer those with Biology and/or lab experience.

  • Computer keyboarding experience recommended.

  • At least one year of experience working with the public or demonstrated ability to interface with a diverse group of individuals in a positive, friendly and helpful manner.

  • Ability to work under stressful conditions.

Pay Range:
$17.80 - $24.91

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
