Advertised Job Summary


Admissions Assistant (Stu Srvcs Prog Coord I), Salary: $37,735 per year, USC Aiken Enrollment Management DivisionThe Division of Enrollment Management (which includes the Offices of Admissions, Enrollment Services, Financial Aid, Registrar, and Transfer Student Services) seeks a professional to serve as Admissions Assistant in a results-driven office. Working under general supervision the Admission Assistant plans, organizes and directs the complex administrative activities of the Division of Enrollment Management to include processing graduate applications and registration; processing citizenship and immunization verification; serving as an point of contact and referral/resolution for student concerns and faculty/staff questions; providing budgetary oversight for the division, and maintaining all correspondence, appointments, support for various offices within the division, and for the Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management. All efforts of this position and the Enrollment Management Office, both strategic and routine, are to be viewed as enrollment enhancement activities. Must be familiar with administrative functions in a busy, multitask environment in order to fulfill the responsibilities of this role. Additionally, the job requires excellent written and oral communication skills, a high degree of judgment and discretion, and the ability to carry out complex oral and written instructions under minimal supervision and with a high degree of accuracy. Computer skills, including word processing, presentation development, and database management and reporting are key performance factors in this position. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 1 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience. Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)


Bachelor’s degree and 1 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience.
