Senior Principal - Workforce Transformation (Utilities Sector) Infosys Consulting Workforce Transformation practice is seeking experienced and visionary Organizational Change and Learning Senior Principal Consultants to lead our efforts addressing the evolving challenges and opportunities in the Utilities Industry, as well as sales and practice development. This role covers the entire utilities value chain from generation, transmission, and distribution through customer service and support. About the Role As a Senior Principal, you will anchor proposal preparation and engagement delivery efforts for organization change, learning and human capital tracks on major transformation programs in the utilities industry. You will lead the development of solutions, be accountable for delivery, and guide teams on project processes and outcomes. You will collaborate and interface with senior clients daily to build confidence and guide the team in aligning deliverables to business needs while mitigating business risks. Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and articulate a strategic vision for addressing key industry risks, including the evolving energy mix, technological innovations, artificial intelligence, and regulatory and climate impacts
Provide thought leadership on utilities industry trends, challenges, and opportunities
Lead the development and deployment of organization change digital solutions across the utilities value chain
Implementing advanced CIS to enhance customer engagement, billing accuracy, and service reliability
Deploying MDM solutions for real-time monitoring, accurate billing, and efficient energy usage analysis
Enhancing field network infrastructure with IoT devices and smart grid technologies to improve monitoring and control
Seamlessly integrating disparate systems across the enterprise to ensure real-time data flow and operational efficiency
Implementing cloud-based platforms including S4HANA for scalable and flexible enterprise solutions, enhancing collaboration and data accessibility
Ensuring robust cybersecurity measures to protect enterprise data and infrastructure from cyber threats.
Utilizing advanced analytics and AI to understand customer behavior and preferences, offering personalized services and proactive communication
Developing platforms to enable peer-to-peer energy trading, integrating distributed energy resources into the energy market
Ensuring solutions align with regulatory requirements and support sustainability goals
Deploying mobile applications for real-time data access, communication, and task management, improving field service efficiency and response times
Implementing advanced work management systems to optimize scheduling, resource allocation, and task execution
Ensuring all solutions comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including data privacy and cybersecurity standards
Develop strategies to mitigate climate impacts, such as integrating renewable energy sources and enhancing energy efficiency
Mentor and develop team members, providing opportunities for professional growth and advancement
Build of HCM/Payroll/Time and Change tracks team through mentoring, training and on the job coaching.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the utilities sector
Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and sales initiatives
Skills and Experience:
Extensive knowledge of the utilities value chain, including generation, transmission, distribution, and retail
Deep understanding of emerging energy trends, technological innovations, and industry risks
Proven experience in utilities sector
Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale digital transformation projects
Proficiency in digital solutions such as S4, Oracle Cloud, CIS, MDM, mobility solutions, and field network solutions
Knowledge of artificial intelligence, risk-based asset management, and situational awareness tools
Expertise in enterprise integration, cloud solutions, AI, machine learning, and cybersecurity
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the utilities sector
Experience in developing strategies to address climate impacts and sustainability
Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of end-to-end of HCM/Payroll/Time and Change experience for ERP-enabled transformation programs.
At least 3 full-life-cycle technology implementations in key of HCM/Payroll/Time and/or Change roles.
At least 1 full-life-cycle technology implementation in lead of HCM/Payroll/Time and/or Change tracks role.
Track record of consulting sales and business development, including delivering on quantitative financial targets.
Track record of consulting practice building and offerings/IP development; demonstrated thought leadership
Strong oral, written communications skills, presentation skills and interpersonal skills
Comfort with change and ambiguity; ability to flex approach to changing external stimuli.
Ability to travel 50%plus.
